New Motorola G models - LTE and Ferrari

New Motorola G models - LTE and Ferrari
Motorola G was great success in mid-range phones. It offered great performance for affordable price. It's not surprising
that Motorola is making new variants based on Moto G.

The first one is slightly refreshed model Motorola Moto G Ferrari Edition. Not much is known about this one. It's worth notyfing that Motorola already had Ferrari phone which was Motorola i867 Ferrari.

The second model is more exciting. The Motorola Moto G should come as 16 GB variant and is supposed to have one of Qualcomm Snapdragon's 400 chip with LTE modem. This model is said to be released in June in Mexico for 260$. The rest of specification should be the same.

Moto G Forte - rumours about new Moto G Model

Well known witter account @evleaks presented supposedly new Moto G model. As rumors say, it's supposed to be a improved Moto G designed for Latin America Market.

Moto G Forte
MOTO G FORTE
As the name suggests, the phone is supposed to be stronger than it's predecessor. It's possible that like Moto Defy, the Forte will be water and dust resistant. Also many rumors add that in the new Moto G shall be equipped with microSD slot, which lacked in the classic Moto G.

More official informations should appear in couple of months.
Here are few steps to remove the triangle warning us about unlocked bootloader. It's based on replacing to standard logo.bin file.

Requirements:
USB Debbuging
Motorola's Fastboot
ADB
Original Logo

Instruction:

According to pdadb.net the Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 in Moto G is able to run at the clock speed of 1.6 GHZ. For example Asus Padfone mini has the same SoC on board but is running on 1.4 GHz.

Now the question is if or how much voltage is needed to incerase in Moto G to handle 1.4-1.6 GHz and how it will cope with more heat production.
Many people have a problem on Moto G that they cannot install APKs on the phone. Hopefully, there are few workarounds for this problem.

BEST SOLUTION: Make a wipe/data facotry reset. Then skip all the configuration process and jump to settings. Now enable option of installing non-market apps

1) Put the files you wish to install in /data/create_any_folder_here/<here> (needs root)
2) Upload your games/applications on Google Drive and install them from there
3) People are reporting that couple of wipes solve the problem...
4) Install APKs trough USB flash stick connected using OTG cable

P.S. The bug should be fixed in the next OTA update. French and German retail phones have the fix already.
