Micromax GSM+ CDMA Phone Micromax Canvas Duet 2 Coming Soon

Micromax is planning to bring new dual SIM phone which supports both CDMA and GSM. Usually there are many customers who still rely on CDMA Phones and we don’t have many options when it comes to CDMA handsets.  And with Micromax Canvas Duet, the Indian company is trying to come up with the better options.

This is not the first handset from Micromax which provides dual SIM with both CDMA and GSM supports.Micromax Canvas Blaze also supports both SIMs but problem with this handset is that CDMA is supposed to work only for MTS SIMs only. Canvas Blaze was locked with MTS CDMA SIM only. And to resolve this problem Micromax has unveiled new Canvas Duet. It is the second android phone with both GSM and CDMA support dual SIM phone.

CAN Micromax Canvas Duet 2 EG111 run any CDMA SIM?

The answer is a YES! The phone can run any CDMA SIM like TATA Indicom CDMA, Reliance CDMA, MTS CDMA, BSNL CDMA, MTNL, Virgin, etc.

This new handset provides complete freedom to the customer to use CDMA SIM of any network as it is not locked with any specific type of network. And hence it won’t be astonishing if people will prefer it over any other gadget. Talking about the specs what we are getting is a HD IPS Display with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Micromax Canvas Duet runs on 1.2GHz quad core processor with 8 MP camera and 2MP front facing camera for the purpose of video calling. It is having 1GB of internal RAM with 4GB of internal ROM.
